Finally got to talk to a doctor, LT was stable. Couldn’t get doctor to agree to contact us every day as the hospital said they would. Had to take what we could get for information. Visitors were not allowed. Couldn’t get nurses to speak to us we were very much in the dark as far as what was really taking place. You know when your unable to talk to anyone whether it is hours or days, every minute that goes by feels like an eternity. God brings patience in these times
What I know today she has gotten a dose of Remdesivir everyday so far except day one she received two doses. Now the other thing I do know is there were some good treatments taking place alone with the bad treatments, unfortunately in her condition the bad treatments did not fare well with the good treatments. the Bad out weighing the good if you will. Remdesivir causes liver and kidney damage leading to multiple organ failure which is what they told me Covid caused, so if Covid causes multiple organ failure then why would you give a patient a drug that causes the same condition. Another fact is Remdesivir was an experimental drug and when administering an experimental drug informed consent needs to be given. Knowing my wife's previous condition a "non alcoholic fatty liver" I can't imagine she would have consented to this medication, but she had also been given morphine which suppresses your breathing so that's another question, first why give someone having trouble to breath a drug that suppresses breathing, and two was she able to consent to treatments being given while being given morphine? Another experimental drug she was given was Tocilizumab a not so effective Monoclonal Antibody remember she had Covid for approx two weeks by now. This Monoclonal Antibody is know to cause invasive fungal infections such as Candidiasis, Aspenqillosis and Pneumocystis. We will get into these findings a little later. in my opinion the treatments sound a bit counter acting as far as helpful treatments for one having trouble to breath are concerned.
